That’s a great question. In my opinion, I think we are probably more likely to see the emergence of China as a truly dominant superpower (more so than they are currently) before we see Brazil taking this place. However, I do think – with favourable political leanings – Brazil could become a ‘sustainability superpower’. If the world starts to become more aligned in terms of protecting the environment. Brazil also has a lot of manufacturing influence, so will perhaps become a stronger economy. Despite this, I think ‘a couple of years’ is probably too short of a time frame to see this much of a shift. In a decade, maybe more likely!
