Yes!! So much so that I studied it for GCSE, A-levels and two degrees at university. I now use geography skills in my job. Geography is great as it really helps you understand the world around you. Whether that’s recognising geographical features in the landscapes or understanding how cities work, geography is everywhere!
For a long time I didn’t think I liked geography, I didn’t even study it for GCSE! But after studying a lot of other subjects, like psychology, history, politics, and sociology, I realised that geography is like a combination of all of those with the added interest of the environmental aspects that influence humans and our behaviours!
I was a late-comer to geography, but my PhD is in geography and I wouldn’t go any other way now!
