I live in Loughborough with my two cats, called Chef and Socks! During the day I am a geographer but I love spending my free time reading, doing arty things, countryside and beach walks and hanging out with my friends!

How I use Geography in my work:
My work closely connects to the geography taught in school because it explores how human activities impact natural systems such as rivers. My work covers geographic concepts like the water cycle, human-environment interactions, pollution, and sustainability, linking classroom learning to real-world environmental challenges.

I am researching how microplastics (smaller than 5mm!) impact river environments in the UK.

My work looks at how pharmaceuticals – like pain killers and anti-biotics, stick to microplastics. I am interested in what happens when big that live in freshwater eat these plastics!

Qualifications:
- 10 GCSEs,
- 3 A-levels – Geography, Spanish and English Literature
- BSc in Geography (physical geography focused)
- Masters of Science by Research and am working towards my PhD.
